Little spotted page

Our foundation mares of this group of well - marked leopard, non fading, spotted ponies below 42 inches, were mostly descended from the old well known Merriot line. First we used the leopard stallion, Halstock George bred by Mr. Hodge high up on the top of Dartmoor, he is strong boned and hardy. We also used the leopard spotted Kilcummer Dino (Sire Rayo, Dam.Cinderella Van Maurits) Since then we have used Forgefield Blondin a 36 inch Few Spot on Pedigree Shetlands this produced some Quality, well spotted smaller females.

Below are photos of this year's spotted foals by Cranleigh Sailor, he was bred and licensed by Miss Marlyn Pollard, secretary, British Spotted Pony Society.

All dams registered with passports from the Spotted Horse & Pony Society, or The Shetland Pony Society.

Very sad RETIREMENT sale, due to age and ill health after forty years of breeding and selecting the best for temperament and conformation.We have some wonderful ponies, hard to find as reliable and well behaved.

Registered, British spotted ponies about 34 to 40 inches Cranleigh Sailor has some wonderfull foals again this year. I'm looking for good homes to buy some of his children.
